Nacho Gias
NACHO GIAS is COLLABORATING PARTNER at Slow Studio Madrid
As a collaborating partner at Slow Studio, Nacho oversees the technical direction of projects in the Community of Madrid and its surroundings, coordinating construction tenders, site supervision, and dealings with local administration.
Nacho is an architect from CEU San Pablo University in Madrid (2010). After several years of professional experience in London, China, and Paris, Nacho returned to Spain, where he began his career as a freelance architect, primarily developing single-family housing projects with a special focus on energy efficiency. In 2021, he completed his training with the Passivhaus Designer qualification, allowing him to apply the highest rigor to building projects in the field of nearly zero energy consumption.
Nacho firmly believes in individuals contributing to a society that benefits everyone, improving people’s quality of life through architecture. As an associate collaborator in Madrid, Nacho is fully aligned with the Slow philosophy, sharing values of sustainability, health, and living in harmony with the planet. Perhaps this is why he escapes north to surf whenever he has the opportunity, seeking nature as a refuge, or enjoys his passion for art in a calm and conscious way in his free time.
