House in Ametlla at the Vallès Catalan Architecture Exhibition

On Wednesday, April 3rd, the diploma award ceremony for the 9th Vallès Catalan Architecture Exhibition, organized by COAC, took place. Its objective is to record, highlight, and disseminate the work carried out by architects in the Vallès territorial area.
Out of 82 projects submitted in this edition, the jury highlighted 3 and selected 24, which appear alongside all submitted projects in a videographic project. This project aims to bring architecture closer to the public and features a detailed explanation of the questions and values addressed by the selected architectural projects.
Slow Studio’s project, House in Ametlla, is featured in the ‘Other submitted projects’ section. It is a passive house in Ametlla del Vallès, commissioned by a family with a slow living philosophy, who enjoy spending time at home and are passionate about music.
The event took place in a very special setting: the La Coberta Boxing School in Badía del Vallés, which gives new life to an abandoned swimming pool through minimal investment, with its coherence centered around the concept of a second life.
