Nominated for the Design Studio MAG Awards 2022

Slow Studio’s Casa en Cerros de Madrid project has been nominated for the Design Studio Mag Awards 2022, an international design award organised by the architecture and design magazine Design Studio Mag that recognises the best projects, products, and ideas worldwide. Entries were judged by a multidisciplinary panel of industry experts.

“The elongated shape of the land conditions the project; we have a narrow facade only ten metres long. In addition, the pursuit of compactness and total connection between rooms leads us to explore design options that allow us to bring light and solar heat indoors. Thus, the project starts from a practically square floor plan that uses two strategies to gain sunlight.”
