Last Thursday, April 24, Slow Studio participated in the presentation on Healthy Materials, Building for Well-being. The event took place at Cosentino City Mallorca, with the engaging participation of Aulets Arquitectes, Rafael Sala Nowotny, and Pedro González, Product and Innovation KM Specialist at Cosentino Group, moderated by Jorge Gallego Sánchez-Torija, Board Member of ASA.

Health considerations not only in the use of materials that prevent harm to our well-being, but also in the reuse and application of those that may have been harmful during extraction and construction processes to avoid the damage their treatment as waste could cause, were among the topics addressed at the event organized by ASA, with the aim of learning about the different experiences of each presenter.

Jade Serra from Slow Studio spoke about the need to reduce the carbon impact of materials so that natural and healthy materials gain an advantage over materials with a high ecological footprint.
