ARCOmadrid2023 with Cosentino City Barcelona

On February 24, Slow Studio was invited to visit the ARCOmadrid2023 fair, Spain’s International Contemporary Art Fair, which in 2023 celebrates its 42nd edition with the Mediterranean as its central theme. The programme, The Mediterranean: A Round Sea, curated by Marina Fokidis, with advisory support from Bouchra Khalili, Hila Peleg and Pedro G. Romero, revolves around the artistic scenes of the countries surrounding this sea, from south to north and from coast to coast.
Cosentino City Barcelona, one of the fair’s sponsors, invited a group of interior designers and architects to this must-attend event, including representatives from Jaime Beriestain Studio, Tres Cinco Uno\Creative Studio, Clysa Diseño Contemporáneo, Sauras Garriga, Marisol Sanchez Torne, and photographer Juan Carlos Vega.
Slow Studio chooses Cosentino because it is a company with which we share values and with which we have carried out several collaborations related to zero ecological footprint and minimal-impact materials, which we analyse in our Research section through the development of an eco-friendly worktop guide.
Art is a fundamental ally of architecture and interior design; it is how the personality of the person who will inhabit each space is communicated and conveyed. Through art, and thanks to it, places are created to enjoy, share and live.
