Publicado el 02 May 2022

Hola! magazine publishes an article on SLOW ARCHITECTURE in its digital edition, featuring our studio as an expert in sustainable, ecological, and healthy architecture. This Spanish weekly publication has international reach and specializes in topics such as fashion, beauty, and design.

The article highlights the 9 principles of slow architecture defined by our studio:

1. Zero energy: Reducing energy demand to operate solely on renewable sources.

2. Efficient: Using bioclimatic architecture strategies to achieve a comfortable environment without energy consumption.

3. Healthy: Applying design criteria that ensure hygrothermal comfort and minimize electromagnetic pollution in spaces.

4. Community and interaction: Creating flexible spaces that promote human interaction and accommodate multiple uses.

5. Toxin-free: Using natural materials, free of toxins, without volatile organic compounds that guarantee the health of the interior environment.

6. Sustainable: Reducing the CO2 footprint in each phase of the project’s life cycle and implementing local sourcing policies.

7. Renewable: Following circular economy principles to ensure the permanence of built environments and reuse or recycling at the end of their useful life.

8. Integrated and adapted to its environment: Respecting the natural environment of each of our projects, making decisions that minimize impact on ecosystems.

9. Comfortable and durable: Shaping flexible spaces that adapt to the changing needs of our society.
