SLOW STUDIO FINALIST II KÖMMERLING CHALLENGE ARCHITECTURE AWARDS

Publicado el 11 June 2025

We are delighted to announce that Slow Studio has been selected as a finalist in the II Kömmerling Challenge Architecture Award, a competition that recognizes projects committed to architecture aligned with the principles of sustainability, energy efficiency, and residential well-being.

In this edition, six finalist studios have been selected across two categories: single-family housing and collective housing. Our studio has been highlighted in the single-family housing category, alongside the teams from munarq and MOLArquitectura. According to Kömmerling, these are projects where “bioconstruction, health, and connection with the environment pave the way for regenerative living.”

The jury has evaluated, among other aspects, methodological coherence, innovative capacity, and commitment to an architecture that not only reduces environmental impact but also improves people’s lives. The jury’s final decision will be announced during a gala in November 2025. It is then that the winning studios for each category will be revealed.

We are very grateful for this selection, which provides new momentum to continue developing architecture that respects the environment and people, and reinforces our commitment to designing healthier and more conscious spaces.

More information about the finalists and the award process can be found on the official website of the II Kömmerling Challenge Architecture Award.
