Presentation at Materials Matter Exhibition COAC

On June 11 and 12, the Materials Matter Exhibition 2025 was held at the Official Association of Architects of Catalonia (COAC) as part of Barcelona Design Week. The event brought together a curated selection of firms, designers, and brands committed to innovative and environmentally responsible materials.

Jade Serra, partner at Slow Studio, participated on June 12, sharing the firm’s experience in applying healthy materials and bioclimatic strategies in architectural projects, with a special focus on traceability, low environmental impact, and the active role of architecture in the ecological transition.

Materials Matter Exhibition, organized by Matter, is a platform for debate and dissemination that focuses on the value of materials in contemporary architecture and design, understanding them as essential instruments for addressing the social, environmental, and technical challenges of today’s architecture.

The event featured the participation of numerous architecture firms in a format that combined exhibition and dissemination, promoting exchange between professionals, manufacturers, and brands.
