On Monday, September 29, 2025, the Extraordinary General Assembly of AuS – Arquitectes per la Sostenibilitat, an association of the Col·legi d’Arquitectes de Catalunya (COAC), took place. During the assembly, the new Board of Directors for the 2025–2029 term was proclaimed, and Jade Serra was appointed Vice President of the association.

The proclamation of the new Board marks the beginning of a new chapter for AUS, approached with maturity, energy, and responsibility. The goal is to continue consolidating the association’s role as a benchmark in sustainable architecture and as an active voice within the COAC and the profession as a whole. The Board consists of ten members with diverse and complementary profiles—from professional, academic, cooperative, and institutional backgrounds—who share a deep commitment to sustainability and the decarbonization of the construction sector.

With this appointment, we reinforce our commitment to climate activism in architecture, joining collective efforts and going beyond the strictly professional scope of the studio. The fight for the decarbonization of the sector requires advocacy, cooperation, and active participation in the spaces where criteria, policies, and tools capable of driving a real transformation of the construction model are defined.

The new 2025–2029 mandate focuses on three main pillars: advocacy in key debates that determine the future of the sector; dissemination and communication to raise awareness among architects, institutions, and the public about the urgent need to transform the way we build and live; and training, providing tools and knowledge to promote a model of regenerative architecture that is culturally rooted and respectful of the planet.

From the vice presidency, Jade Serra will contribute to strengthening the links between professionals, institutions, and society, and to consolidating AUS as a space for change and collective action in the face of the climate emergency.
