Interview with Slow Studio in Monapart magazine

Publicado el 09 September 2025

Monapart magazine has published a feature on our work and philosophy titled Slow architecture for lives that want to breathe”.

In the interview, we share our vision of slow architecture, a way of designing and living that focuses on well-being, health, and a connection with nature.

We explain how Slow Studio was born and our way of working: listening before designing, committing to honest materials, seeking comfort in well-lived hours, and understanding architecture as a tool for positive transformation—not only environmentally, but also emotionally and socially.

We also discuss Slow Research, the research line that allows us to continue learning and sharing knowledge with an increasingly conscious community. We reflect on the importance of living in coherence with what we design: simplicity, nature, community, and quality time.

The report also highlights our commitment to sustainability, the decarbonization of the sector, and our active participation in the Architecture and Sustainability Association (AUS) of the Architects’ Association of Catalonia, where we work to drive regulatory changes and promote responsible practices.
