CIC Magazine’s Special Edition on Sustainable Architecture Firms 2025-2026

Publicado el 13 March 2026

The magazine CIC Architecture and Sustainability has included Slow Studio in its new special issue Featured Selection of Sustainable Architecture Firms 2025-2026, a publication that brings together over one hundred architecture firms to reflect on the future of sustainable architecture.

In this edition, the magazine poses a direct question to the participating firms: What is the future of sustainable architecture? Through this collective reflection, the issue explores how architecture must evolve in response to the environmental, social, and technological challenges that define the present and future of the sector.

Slow Studio presents a reflection that connects architecture with the societal model in which we live. Slow Studio’s presence in this selection reinforces the firm’s commitment to an architecture that seeks to balance innovation, sustainability, and well-being, understanding design as a key tool for building a more conscious and responsible future.

What is the future of sustainable architecture?

Architecture is part of a society’s culture: what we are is reflected in what we build. If we live in a society oriented toward unlimited resource consumption that does not prioritize people’s well-being, that logic will also define architecture.

Until we change the way we relate to the environment through awareness and respect, we will not advance toward zero-impact sustainable architecture.

The future of sustainable architecture necessarily involves moving toward a conscious society that places the health of people and the planet above all else.
