Roundtable at Leaders for Architecture

On October 24, Jade Serra, partner at Slow Studio, participated in an event organized by Leaders for Architecture that brought together leaders and professionals from the architectural field to explore the business of architecture and the keys to transforming a studio into a driver of personal and professional well-being.
During the morning, the workshop Business for Architecture was held, focused on providing practical tools to manage architectural studios efficiently and sustainably.
In the afternoon, architect and leadership expert Caterina De La Portilla delivered an inspiring presentation on The Business of Architecture and How to Make Your Studio a Driver for Your Personal and Professional Well-being. This presentation was followed by a roundtable in which various professionals from the sector shared their experiences and approaches to studio management in the current context. This session included Aleix Gimeno, founder of Play-Time; Carlos Dimas, from Mesura; Adrià Blanc, from Punto Consulting; and Jade Serra, partner at Slow Studio.
The panel was a unique opportunity to gain insight into the vision of these leading studios in Spain, who discussed how they optimize their processes, face the sector’s challenges, and balance professional growth with the well-being of their teams. Each speaker contributed a valuable perspective on how to run a studio, address competition, and promote a healthy, relevant work environment aligned with their company’s values.
