Bioclimatic architecture integrates natural strategies to achieve thermal comfort with minimal energy consumption. Among the principles of bioclimatic design, ventilation plays a key role, as it makes it possible to cool indoor air without the need for active HVAC. This article analyses how ventilation works in a passive house and its relationship with the bioclimatic principles that optimise design for increasingly warmer climates.
